Today we are proud to present WordTappy!

In WordTappy you challenge your friends in a word finding battle where longer words give you more points. The goal is to form words by connecting letters in a grid much like the classic game Boggle (which we are huge fans of).

Sounds easy? If you are satisfied with short words it is, but the challenge begins as you try to form longer and longer words. You almost get hypnotized starring at the letters trying to find that killer word you know is in there somewhere.

The game is played whenever you want and for as long as you want. In the grocery store queue, while waiting for the bus or maybe just before saying good night. You are allowed to wraparound to letters on the opposite side and there is no time limit in your word search.

Development has been on and off for the last couple of months and our beta test has shown that there certainly is a good amount of stickiness to the game.

We also thought it would be interesting for you to follow the progress of WordTappy and therefore decided on making the statistics public. You can find the statistics site here: http://stats.wordtappy.com

We have big plans for WordTappy. Amongst our planned features are push notifications, 3 and 4 player games, more languages, more player- and game stats and to offer WordTappy on other platforms such as Facebook.

Jag har varit iPhone-ägare sedan sommaren 2009 och har alltid använt skärmskydd. Med skärmskydd menar jag den tunna plastfilm som ska skydda skärmen från repor och som varje telefonexpedit reflexmässigt försöker sälja på dig för en icke oansenlig summa.

Jag har inte direkt reflekterat över hur skärmskyddet påverkar användarupplevelsen utan jag har varit mycket nöjd med mina telefoner. För några månader sedan tog jag dock bort skärmskyddet på min iPhone 4 eftersom det började bli väldigt repigt och min kollega David rekommenderade att jag skulle testa utan.

Jag blev på en gång förvånad över skillnaden. Telefonen känns betydligt mer responsiv, har krispigare färger och känns generellt trevligare.

Efter några månader är skärmen fortfarande spegelblank utan repor och jag upplever även att jag inte behöver rengöra skärmen lika ofta.

Jag förstår att skärmskydd av olika anledningar kan vara bra men har det blivit dags för dig att byta skärmskydd, testa några dagar utan och se om även du upplever att du får en trevligare telefon.
